Hi. My name is Jesse Andrews. I am the author of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. I am also a dog who can type. Specifically, a corgi. I am a corgi who can type intelligible prose. It's sort of incredible that this isn't a bigger story, but whatever. I can do without the publicity. Anyway, I encourage you to read my book. If I was going to be obnoxious and in-your-face about the I-am-a-dog thing, this is where I would make some kind of labored dog-related pun, like, "It's a RUFF read!" But that's some played-out human garbage, and I am not going to go there. Also, that pun doesn't even make sense.

Review in the Illawarra Mercury
Australia continues to make a strong and embarrassingly unopposed bid for Country That Is Aware That I Have Written A Book status with this piece from the Illawarra Mercury, which says very nice things about my book and quotes me at length. The downside is that when you quote me at length, you are probably quoting me talking about my dad and his passion for the song Funky Stuff, by Kool and the Gang.

Australian edition to publish 3/26!
Readers in Australia! Me and Earl will be published by Allen & Unwin on Monday the 26th! That is in five days! Hot damn. By far my favorite thing about the Australian edition is that the blurb on the back, by the good and great Phillip Gwynne, describes the book as “stonking,” which is one of those Australian words where I read it, as an American, and throw up my hands, and say, guys, you win. You’ve won language. It’s not even close.
